The Texas Homeowners Assistance Fund Program (TXHAF) provides financial assistance to qualified Texas homeowners who have fallen behind on their mortgage and related expenses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Executive Director of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Bobby Wilkinson said eligible people can apply online and receive up to $65,000 in benefits.

“That’s up to $40,000 for your mortgage and up to 25-thousand for property taxes, HOA fees, and homeowner’s insurance.”
