Fallen behind on mortgage payments, property taxes, HOA dues, or homeowner’s insurance? There’s a program that can help.
The Texas Homeowners Assistance Fund Program (TXHAF) provides financial assistance to qualified Texas homeowners who have fallen behind on their mortgage and related expenses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Executive Director of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Bobby Wilkinson said eligible people can apply online and receive up to $65,000 in benefits.
“That’s up to $40,000 for your mortgage and up to 25-thousand for property taxes, HOA fees, and homeowner’s insurance.”
