Amazon is launching Alexa+, but there’s a catch: you can no longer keep your voice recordings private.

Here’s what you need to know:
– No more local processing: To fully use Alexa, your voice recordings will be saved by Amazon.
– Voice ID feature: This allows Alexa to recognize who’s speaking, but if you opt out of saving recordings, this feature will be disabled.

– Privacy concerns: Many users are worried about Amazon listening in on their conversations, especially after previous issues with how recordings were handled.
Amazon assures us that voice requests are encrypted for security, but does that make you feel any better?
