Ascarate fishing club will be having a fishing tournament on Saturday June 11th. It is free to all children ages 3 to 16. We will give out free t-shirts to the first 200 children to register for the tournament. we also give out prizes to the children in different age groups for the longest fish caught.
Registration starts at 7:30am until 9:30am at the Pavilion.
fishing will stop when the horn sounds at about 11;30.
This is a catch and release derby. so have your fish measured as soon as you catch it. all fish must be measured before the horn sounds for the second time.
If you need fishing poles we have them. we do require a parents drivers license to loan you the poles. please return them to the table where they were given to you and your license will be returned at that time.
Please let the children do the fishing with your help as needed.
