Taco ‘Bout a Roaring Success: El Tigre Taqueria Brings the Heat to Socorro!

🌮🎉 If you haven’t tried El Tigre Taqueria yet, you’re seriously missing out! I caught them a couple of times when they were parked at Aceitunas Beer Garden on the West Side, but now they’re back in Socorro, and let me tell you I’ll still drive the distance for those tacos — they still serve the most unique, mouth-watering tacos around! 🙌🔥
The genius behind it all is Jorge Ortiz, aka “Monstro,” whose love for border cuisine started as a kid and has taken him all over the culinary world. Now, he’s bringing those skills to El Paso, offering tacos like suadero flautas with bonito flakes and tacos de trompo de asada. Trust me, it’s the best thing your taste buds will experience! 🍽️❤️
And yes, that’s the arm of James Beard Award-nominee Chef Enrique Lozano working alongside them! 🤯🔥
El Tigre is all about quality, with nixtamalized masa from just across the border, putting a spotlight on the beauty of corn tortillas instead of the usual flour options. 🌽👨‍🍳
Catch them now at 10167 Socorro Rd. — Thursday to Saturday, 5 PM to 12 AM, and Sunday 2 PM to 9 PM. Believe me, this is food truck greatness! 🚚🌟
